What is Narcos Life?

Narcos Life is a role-play community built on Arma Reforger, designed to simulate real-world life in a fictional city. Players can take on careers, buy homes, start businesses, commit crimes, enforce the law, and build their story in a shared world.

How do I join the server?

You must have Arma Reforger installed and subscribe to the server’s mods in the Workshop. Then, search for the server name in the in-game browser and join. Make sure to also join our Discord for rules, updates, and role applications.

Do I need a microphone?

Yes. Voice communication is essential for role-play, police interactions, and teamwork. Players without a mic will have a limited experience and may not be eligible for certain jobs.

How do jobs work?

There are multiple career paths, including:

Civilian Jobs (fisherman, mechanic, delivery driver, business owner)
Law Enforcement (Sheriff’s Office, State Police, Detectives)
Medical & Fire Services
Criminal Roles (gangs, cartels, robberies)

Jobs may require applications or training before joining.

Can I own property?

Yes. Houses can be purchased around the map if they are for sale.

How do vehicles work?

Vehicles can be purchased at dealerships and stored in your garage. Some vehicles are tied to specific jobs (police, EMS, etc.), while others are available to civilians.

Is crime allowed?

Yes, but it must be role-play driven. Random deathmatching (RDM), vehicle deathmatching (VDM), and trolling are not tolerated. Organized crime, robberies, and cartel activity are encouraged when done properly.

What happens if I break the rules?

Rule violations can result in:

Verbal/Written Warnings
Temporary Bans
Permanent Bans

All players are expected to respect the community and role-play fairly.

Is there an economy system?

Yes. You can earn money through jobs, side activities, or crime. Money is used to buy houses, vehicles, weapons, furniture, and other goods. Some items require rare crafting materials.

How does housing work?

Houses for sale have a For Sale sign.
Purchase them at the key hooks inside.
Upgrade with storage, garages, and crafting tables.
Keep up with taxes, or you risk losing the property.

Do I need to stay in character (IC)?

Yes. This is a role-play community. Always remain in character unless you are in an OOC (out-of-character) channel. Breaking character during RP can disrupt immersion.

How do I become a cop/medic/etc.?

Submit an application through our Discord or forums. Once accepted, you’ll receive training and be assigned to a department.

Are there gangs and cartels?

Yes. Players can form or join gangs and larger criminal organizations. These groups can control areas, run drug operations, and engage in turf wars — all within role-play rules.

Do I lose items when I die?

Yes, typically you will drop money or lose your items. EMS may recover you, but failing that, you risk losing inventory.

How do I report an issue or bug?

Use the Discord support channel or the in-game reporting tools. Provide as much detail as possible so staff can investigate quickly.
