Fishing is a legal job to make money in Lakeside. It is extremely beginner friendly as it does not require the person to own any existing licenses. It is a good way to start making your first money.

To start fishing, all you need is a fishing rod. Your first one you will be able to aquire in the nearest general store. There are multiple tiers of rods enabling you to aquire rare fish.

To fish, your boots need to be fully sunken into water. You are not able to fish from land. You need to be at least 2KM away from the fishing trader as well.

July 2025 - Big P is known for fishing. He, his yellow fishing pants and his fishing rod are usually around the Lakeside area. You can meet him nearby the Lakeside Sheriff Department quiet often. Big P already got arrested for fishing in the Sheriffs office.
